I’m sure this has been said, but I’m fine with the Obama campaign embracing the word “Obamacare.”

It’s an appropriate title for the legislation anyway because Obama care. Obama care a lot.

I’m reasonably impressed by Lady Gaga’s response to criticism about her weight. She’s such a paradox to me—she’s like this brilliantly crafted character, but this still feels very sincere. And I’m so behind the Body Revolution message.

But I’d add that body-shaming isn’t only a bad idea when you might be upsetting someone with a history of eating disorders. Body-shaming is a bad idea because it’s ineffective, implies a baseless moral judgement, and because other people’s bodies aren’t any of your fucking business.
